June 2018 Leisure Group Travel
Arts and Culture Issue
Artistic expression takes center stage in Leisure Group Travel’s June 2018 issue. Our Ohio section starts out with a feature on arts districts and art museums throughout the state, from prestigious institutions in Cleveland’s University Circle neighborhood to Dairy Barn Arts Center in Athens. “Ohio Halls of Fame” spotlights attractions that honor legends in aviation, sports and music, while a third feature celebrates Ohio-made products.
In the West, we look at six cultural districts in San Diego, Los Angeles, San Pedro and Lancaster. “Discovering the Greater Miami Art Vibe” covers some of South Florida’s top art museums and other aspects of its vibrant art scene.
Those wishing to commune vicariously with nature can read about “9 Massachusetts Gardens” or a wildlife-watching cruise to Ecuador’s remote Galapagos Islands. The special 12-page “Iowa Tour Guide” spotlights the state’s great historical attractions, top festivals, farm-to-fork experiences and a baker’s dozen of hidden gems sure to spice up your next itinerary.
Group planners looking to include a train trip in their next tour will find ideas in “Guide to Scenic Rail,” which describes 10 excursion trains/rail museums around the country. All aboard!
