ATTA Leading the Way Forward 

For more than three decades, the Adventure Travel Trade Association has helped shape the future of travel by championing a vision that balances economic growth with the protection of the world’s natural and cultural treasures. Founded in 1990, the ATTA has grown into the largest global network of adventure travel professionals, bringing together approximately 30,000 guides, tour operators, tourism boards, destination organizations, travel advisors, outdoor educators, gear companies and media professionals who share a commitment to sustainable tourism. 

At a time when travelers increasingly seek meaningful experiences, authentic cultural connections and outdoor exploration, the ATTA continues to serve as a catalyst for innovation, collaboration and responsible growth throughout the industry. By fostering connections among travel leaders and providing the tools, research and education needed to support destinations and businesses, the organization is helping create a more sustainable and profitable future for travel worldwide.
