Located just outside of Charlotte, North Carolina, NarroWay communicates its mission via original, large-scale Broadway-style shows that include live animals, talented actors, inspiring music and delicious prepared-on-site food that reflects the specific show. Added touch: Audience members are greeted, seated and served by the performing cast, adding an additional layer of deep connection to the overall experience.

As the premier Christian theater of the South — and, in fact, one of the few Christian theater companies in the world — NarroWay Productions takes its role of creating wholesome entertainment that promotes life-changing experiences very seriously.

Founded in 1996 by two long-time friends to promote the message of Christ through world-class Christian entertainment, NarroWay prides itself on creating year-round theater productions that appeal to families and groups of all ages. During its first season, NarroWay had just 70 cast members. Now it boasts 400 talented performers and more than 30 productions in their repertoire. In addition, NarroWay offers special children’s shows and Christ-centered theatrical arts classes and summer camps.

This year from May 6-September 16, NarroWay presents Samson, an original production that tells the tragic, heroic and oh-so-relevant story as only they can, with beautiful costumes, inspired performances, live animals and stunning sets. Taking a unique perspective, the production includes scenes that occur today and in the days of the story’s origins. Samson begins in present day in a senator’s office and while it was written with no political agenda, it could be interpreted as such in today’s environment. Samson applauds America’s Founding Fathers and follows a firm conservative Christian moral stance. To complement the setting, the menu includes boneless short rib steak with Mediterranean vegetables, harvest green beans with pimento and sesame seeds, and red pepper hummus.

Then there’s NarroWay’s holiday production, The Real Christmas Story, another not-to-be-missed experience. Featuring everyone’s favorite Christmas scenes and song, this production is like two shows in one as it also offers the real presentation of the historic story behind the holiday. What better way to celebrate the occasion then with baked turkey and all the traditional accompaniments, including mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and pumpkin cake.
