In January 2012 Philip Guarino of Elementi Consulting had an article published in Boston.com titled “6 Digital Marketing Trends to Watch in 2012.” Mr. Guarino is far more knowledgeable about digital marketing than I am. However, with caution thrown to the wind, below are a few observations:
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is certainly a trend that was happening well before 2012, but made a dramatic alteration in 2011 when Google changed how it ranks sites. If you’re anticipating a detailed explanation of search algorithm that only a genius would understand, you’ll be disappointed.
