The company says nearly 20 percent of Americans want to travel as part of a group, yet the booking process often proves frustrating. The initiative is to serve group travelers in an efficient manner. The Groups and Events department has also negotiated air contracts for special group rates and discounts. Travelers who book group trips with will have access to expert recommendations for resorts and hotels in destinations across the Caribbean, Bermuda and Mexico, ability to search real-time rates and inventory, as well as receive online confirmations from hotels, detailed hotel information, including amenities and standard terms, group rates lower than online and traditional wholesale competitors etc.
