3-Day Itinerary for Wyoming
This is the area of the mountain man, who from the 1810-1880s lived in the Northern Rocky Mountains trapping and selling beaver hides to the major fur companies. In July of 1825, the fur companies established several rendezvous locations each spring mostly in Wyoming, with a few sites in Utah and Idaho as a way for the mountain man, trappers, Native Americans to gather and sell their furs, trades and purchase supplies. These men and fur-trading companies established the trails that would later be used to settle the American West.
Wyoming still remains a great place for your group to rendezvous with the American West. Come and experience the life of the mountain man, western hospitality and the spirit of the early western pioneers that you exist here.
