Perfect for families looking for a bit of fun. Rick Bronson’s House of Comedy is a great choice for laughs, drinks, and appetizers. The SEA LIFE Minnesota Aquarium is home to thousands of sea creatures and a 300-foot-long ocean tunnel, making for a mesmerizing experience. Some new stores at the mall are: Zwilling, a cutlery and appliance store, ClimbZone, which features themed climbing walls of varying heights and difficulty, House of Queens and Kings, an African clothing boutique, Honor Roll Athletics, an apparel brand for student athletes, SUSANA Mendez Jewelry, Kura Sushi, and Safari Pride Coffee. Rain Forest Café is more than a dining experience, surround yourself with the sights and sounds of a rainforest while you chose from a variety of dishes. Rain Forest Café is perfect for keeping the kiddos entertained and fed. Benihana is stellar choice for diners looking for teppanyaki favorites. Shrimp lovers should take a look at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., of course, there are also options for those who aren’t so keen on seafood. Cadillac Ranch is an All-American Bar and Grill, with a mechanical bull and a full bar, this restaurant is more suited for a 21 and over crowd. Mall of America Student Groups/ Field Trip Planning
There is plenty of learning to be done at Mall of America. Students are always welcome to enjoy the Nickelodeon Universe Physics Program which offers a self-guided tour and Physics Packets. The program is geared toward middle and high school students. FlyOver America is perfect for student groups of all ages. They offer special rates for groups of 15 or more and a comprehensive curriculum to learn about all things related to the journey. The SeaLife Minnesota Aquarium offers V.I.P behind the scenes tour groups for students of all ages. Learning programs associated with the aquarium are based upon age.
Event Spaces at the Mall of America
Mall Of America hosts many different event spaces, great for any kind of group gathering. The Parkview Meeting and Event Center is fully equipped with audio and video so your business meeting can be done with the most efficiency. The Lounge is a beautiful setting for casual receptions and gatherings. The Overlook can host 300 or more people, making it the ideal choice for large events. There is an event space for everything at MOA.
Where to Stay at MOA
With so many things to do and see at MOA, it only makes sense to stay for a few days. The mall has plenty of accommodation options on-site and nearby. The JW Marriott is located on-site for the most convenient stay when visiting the mall. The hotel features rooms of many sizes including luxury suites. They also offer a complimentary group service for those travelling with friends and family. If the JW Marriott doesn’t work out, don’t worry, there are plenty of other great options nearby that offer shuttle services to the mall and the airport. Mystic Lake Casino Hotel is a nearby option, they run a complimentary shuttle to and from the mall. A golf course and indoor pool offer loads of fun for travelers. The Radisson Blu has direct access to Mall of America through a skyway, it also includes a luxurious indoor saltwater pool and a fitness center.
