For over 50 years, Chanhassen Dinner Theatres has welcomed audiences to enjoy shows in an atmosphere of Minnesotan warmth and charm. Motor coach groups are greeted by our emcee, then welcomed into one of three theatres for tableside service with entrees selected from a delicious menu prior to the start of the show. With three theatres featuring musicals, concerts and comedy, CDT has something for every group.
Chanhassen is the largest privately owned restaurant in Minnesota and typically serves up to 1,000 dinners in the two-hour period before a play. Guests relax and enjoy tableside service with entrees selected from a complete menu. Specialty appetizers, cocktails and desserts also are available. Group Planning Information
- Hours of Operation: Group Sales team is available 9:00-5:00 Monday-Friday
- Best Time for Group Visits: Groups are welcome to purchase tickets to any show; the most popular are the matinees on Wednesdays and Saturdays
- Reservation Policy: Groups may set aside seats one year in advance–even if the show hasn’t been announced yet!
- Payment Options: 10% due two weeks after reservation, final payment the week after final count
- Cancelation Policy: once paid in full, tickets are non-refundable; prior to final count date, deposits are 50% refundable, or 100% transferable to another date
- Group Rates/Discounts: group rates depend on the day of the week, time of the performance, and the venue.
- Group Minimum/Maximum: 12 or more
- Motorcoach Parking: FREE in our large, well-lit parking lot, when that is full, overflow parking is nearby
- Meal Options: entrees are part of group tickets and are selected once the group is seated
