One of Panama’s top tourist attractions is Panama City’s Casco Viejo (Old Town), a UNESCO protected historic district home to many historical sights. The town’s history dates back to the 1600s and it is still growing today. You can take a tour and learn about some of the most famous sights such as the Church of Saint Joseph and the Plaza de la Independencia. For all the coffee lovers out there, Panama is also home to some of the finest roasts and there are plenty of spots around the city to try the local favorites.

There are 10 different hiking trails ranging in difficulty and length and they all have many different views of wildlife, mountains and waterfalls.

This park is home to a variety of wildlife species and has previously been recognized for having the most bird species recorded in a 24-hour period: over 350 different species spotted!
