Central Missouri is often overshadowed by big-time attractions in St. Louis and Kansas City. But there are plenty of exciting things for groups to do and see right in the middle of the Show Me State.
Columbia is known as a college town but attracts visitors of all ages. The campus of the University of Missouri is impressive and a must-see. Group walking tours stop at Mizzou’s award-winning recreation center, historic Jesse Hall and beautiful Memorial Union. The university also has art, anthropology and other museums open to the public. Right next to the campus is a quirky downtown with boutiques, cafes and thrift shops.
