Baseball, Barbecue, Beer and the Blues
If there’s one thing that St. Louis is known for, it’s the four B’s: Baseball, Barbecue, Beer, and the Blues. Busch Stadium, home of the St. Louis Cardinals, is a city highlight that cannot be overlooked. An outing to the stadium is a must for sports fans or those looking for a relaxing day watching America’s pastime. Visitors looking for something more fulfilling can venture to iconic BBQ restaurants, such as Bogarts or Pappy’s, serving legendary slow-cooked ribs, pork, and brisket.
Let’s not forget those who wish to relax to the soothing melodies of blues at many of the blues houses like BB’s Jazz, Blues and Soups, Hammerstone’s, or the historic National Blues Museum. Of course, these can all be enjoyed with a refreshing, local beer from its many independent breweries or the well-known Anheuser-Busch and Budweiser. The four B’s will make anyone realize why St. Louis is a must-visit and may make it your favorite destination.
