Princess Cruises’ newest ship will offer a variety of brand new dining and entertainment options, with 2024 itineraries in the Mediterranean and Caribbean

The first of Princess Cruises’ Sphere-class ships, the Sun Princess, debuts in February 2024. Accommodating 4,300 passengers, she will have the most balconies and sun decks of any Princess ship. And she will be the line’s first ship powered by liquified natural gas (LNG).

Innovations include The Dome, a multi-level space that offers evening entertainment. Inspired by the terraces of Santorini, it provides guests with a perfect place to relax during the day. The Princess Theatre is evolving into the Princess Arena, with new show-stopping productions.

The new cruise ship first will offer Mediterranean cruises. In October 2024 she will be homeported in Fort Lauderdale for a season of 7- and 14-night Caribbean voyages.

Diverse Dining Options on This New Cruise Ship

A new dining experience on the Sun Princess is The Butcher’s Block by Dario, an exclusive partnership Princess Cruises has created with the world’s most famous butcher, Chef Dario Cecchini. Princess Cruises’ signature steakhouse, Crown Grill, features an upscale menu designed by Cecchini.
