Cities and towns throughout the Northeast offer an array of holiday parades, festivals and shows. From Thanksgiving to New Year’s, the calendar is loaded with events sure to immerse group travelers in the spirit of the season.
New York City kicks off the holidays with the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, while the Rockettes kick up their heels at the “Radio City Christmas Spectacular.” In Boston, special holiday strolls are available on the Freedom Trail, and First Night Boston festivities brighten New Year’s Eve. Other options in New England include seasonal events in Woodstock, Vt., and tours of opulent Newport, R.I. mansions decorated to the hilt. And don’t forget Bethlehem, Penn.
