With its strong military presence and as home to many veterans, Virginia Beach and the entire Hampton Roads region appears to be the perfect destination for a group tour colored red, white and blue. It was a logical choice for a creative group travel event mounted this fall by Travel Alliance Partners (TAP).
TAP’s four-day “Bob Hope USO Show Tribute” tour (Oct. 15-18) not only bolstered Virginia Beach’s group travel business but raised more than $20,000 for the USO in Hampton Roads (home of Seal Team 6). This significant donation came from a tour product highlighted by four signature events, each with a USO show theme.
