According to the Office of Travel and Tourism Industries at the U.S. Department of Commerce, 5.8 million international visitors traveled to the United States in March 2013, a 10 percent increase from March 2012.
This increase was fueled in part by significant year-to-year increases from Brazil (27%), China (21%) and Argentina (43%).
“RSAA members continue to enjoy strong overseas business,” said Jonathan Zuk, Chairman of the Board of the Receptive Services Association of America (RSAA). “Brazil continues to be significant growth market for our members and we are pleased to see strong growth from Argentina. RSAA salutes the efforts of Brand USA, Inc. and the U.S. Commercial Service in developing business opportunities for RSAA members. “
The RSAA Summit, to be held Feb. 4-5, 2014 in Washington, D.C., will feature sessions focusing on the Brazilian inbound market and Brand USA, Inc. “RSAA is dedicated to providing up-to-date market information and intelligence to our members to enable them develop business in emerging and established markets,” said RSAA executive director Matt Grayson.
