Every February and March, Major League Baseball players flock to the Valley of the Sun to prepare for another season of baseball. Professional baseball has had a presence in Arizona since the early 1900s when minor league teams frequently stopped there to play exhibition games before their regular season. It has progressed over the years and continues to grow.
