Gaylord Opryland to Reopen Nov. 15

The restoration of Gaylord Opryland Resort is well under way, with the hotel’s reopening set for Nov. 15. All of the clean-up and remediation work is completed, and construction has begun.
As part of the restoration, the resort is redesigning its Cascades Lobby, Cascades American Cafe Restaurant, and Cascades Terrace Bar, as well as Volare and Jack Daniels restaurants. Also on tap are a new Mexican restaurant concept and Magnolia guest rooms.
In the aftermath of unprecedented flooding that swept through Nashville during the first weekend in May, almost all of downtown is as good as new — including Gaylord Entertainment’s Wildhorse Saloon, home of Nashville’s largest dance floor. The company’s General Jackson Showboat is cruising the Cumberland River again. And the Grand Ole Opry House will celebrate its re-opening the first week of October.
