We’re all painfully aware of the devastation wrought by Hurricane Katrina through the South, and the subsequent The Travel South Showcase was hosted in Biloxi this March, and offered the perfect launch from which to see first-hand Mississippi’s rebirth. Casino resorts have been instrumental to bringing back the tourism and employment opportunities, but just as important has been the revitalization of many of the museums and cultural attractions.
