Change of Seasons

Starting this week, I’ve noticed a nip in the air at night and when I get up in the morning. Happily, that means fall, my favorite time of year, will be here in just a few weeks. With fall foliage tour season just around the bend, the holidays can’t be far behind. In one of our breaking news items (left margin) I was encouraged to learn that renovations to the Gaylord Opryland Resort are on schedule and its holiday celebrations on track.

Thinking ahead to December festivities, Leisure Group Travel is asking readers for their take on holiday travel. In our magazine’s October issue, we’ll publish your responses to the following: “What challenges do you face in planning and executing holiday season trips? What have been some of your most successful holiday trips?” Send me your answers by Friday, Sept. 3, and they might end up in print.
